The Czech Golf Open, which will be played at the Prosper Golf Resort, Celadna, Czech Republic from July 30 – August 2, 2009 has enlisted the support of Vodafone Czech Republic and Alo Jewelry.The European Tour will make its first appearance in the Czech Republic since 1997 at the €2.5 million event, where Vodafone Czech Republic will be the leading corporate sponsor.
Pavel Kusy, Marketing Director for corporate customers of Vodafone Czech Republic, said: “Being the main corporate partner to the Czech Golf Open 2009 is a prestigious agreement for us and it will enable us to be in closer contact with our corporate partners and to give them an exclusive experience.” Alo Jewelry, one of Europe's leading high quality jewellery makers, will be a leading sponsor of the event. The Czech company have commissioned the ‘world's most expensive golf ball’ to commemorate the tournament, which will be beset with diamonds worth US$ 1 million. The former champions of the Czech Golf Open are Per -Ulrik Johansson (1994), Peter Teravainen (1995), Jonathan Lomas (1996) and Bernhard Langer (1997). |
