5-8.05.2010 - is the 65th anniversary of the Prague Uprising, when thousands of Czechs rose up against Nazi occupiers during World War II. The Prague uprising  began on May 5, 1945 and went on until May 8, 1945, ending in a ceasefire the day before the arrival of the Red Army and one day after the Victory in Europe Day. Prague was taken on 9 May, 1945 by Soviet troops during the Prague Offensive. It is estimated that about 345,000 World War II casualties were from Czechoslovakia, 277,000 of them Jews. As many as 144,000 Soviet troops gave their lives for the liberation of Czechoslovakia.

Astronomical Clock Old Town Hall (Orloj) celebrates 600 years of Prague's astronomical clock from 1410 to 2010. Astronomical Clock is one of the rarest and most famous sights. It is located on the Gothic tower of Old Town Hall located on Old Town Square. Astronomical Clock is a masterpiece of Czech Gothic art and a magnificent art monument. There are many tourists on the Old Town Square in Prague between 9.00 to 21.00 o'clock . Every hour everyone eagerly looks at two windows of the 12 Apostles statues.

Vienna’s first pop festival will  include series of ten free open air concerts exclusively by Austrian bands. The free concerts will take place from 6 to 10 pm on constructed platform on the water feature in front of the world famous Baroque Karlskirche. Also, there are several concerts will take place on Karlsplatz and neighboring buildings such as the Wien Museum. They will open their door for a packed late-night program complete with gigs, label presentations and parties. On May 6 the Popmuseum will open at midnight at the  famous Wien Museum.  We are welcome you in Vienna during your European tour - Prague Vienna Budapest !
